Jerrine Querin, a Jackson native, is primarily a self-taught artist who began painting 15 years ago in watercolor. She then moved to acrylic and now paints exclusively in oils. Jerrine's work is marked by the rich colors found in her floral still lifes, the skillful depiction of light and shadows, and an expression of joy and serenity which she finds in everyday objects. Over the years, Jerrine has taken painting workshops from Wyatt Waters, Lucy Mazzaferro, Bill Wilson, Bob Tompkins, Joe Anna Arnett, and Brad Lorbach. She has contributed her work for various silent and live auctions for charity. Jerrine presently shows at the Jackson Street Gallery in Ridgeland, MS

Jerrine is a featured artist in the latest Stages Mississippi magazine.
